The pick up and drop off was totally on time

I'm from Spain, but living in London, UK. We rented a Suzuki Escudo, the car was a bit old but we were expecting that. The pick up and drop off was totally on time. The price was a good match for the quality. We didn't have any major problems with the car, but the ones because of the age (problems opening and closing windows, using short and long lights and the radio was not working at all). Overall it was a good experience and was definitely the cheapest option to rent a car for a few days and live the adventure.

If only we could share this on Trip Advisor

We certainly enjoyed our positive experience driving around Zanzibar. There is no longer a forum about Zanzibar in which one can informally describe activities which are not listed on Trip Advisor. I think you deserve recognition for good service, correct price and a good car. I wish you success in the future.

We were so impressed with ZanCars, we loved our upgrade the car was great in a good condition and the air con was superb.
There was no problem for us to extend the car by two days. You dropped off and collected the car exactly on time

First Time stay

We recently booked with Zan Cars for our first time stay in Zanzibar. I would recommend renting a car it saves you a lot of money as opposed to using taxis.
And I highly recommend Mr Said who helped us beyond his call of duty when we were forced to flee the rubbish hotel we had booked late in the evening.

We rented a car with Zancar for a week

The reservation service (via email) was perfect, Said answered all our questions and he even provided us with acar seat for our son. Upon arrival in Zanzibar, Said was waiting for us at the airport. The car was very good and did not consume much gasoline.In case of problems, we were told that we would be repairedand that another car would be made available to us. Excellent value for money. We highly recommend Zancar

I rented a car from Zancars for about 4 days in October and arranged an airport transfer.

I dealt with Is-haq, he was very helpful and informative.He even came to my rescue one day when I was clamped due to incorrect parking (make sure you see the no parking sign)he explained every little detail on how to drive on the island and it really helped, from now onward, I will rent a car everywhere I go as you find so many amazing places, as opposed to group touring, it can be really daunting to rent a vehicle from a business you have never heard about howeverI had absolutely no problems with the rental and Zancars was always on call in case any emergency arose.I can certainly recommend anyone this company

What a fantastic service

What a fantastic service we got from zan cars, the car was good, the service was excellent.I would have no issues with recommending this service for others looking to hire a vehicleon the beautiful island of zanzibar.

In addition to recommending this company, I would also like to recommend hiring a car here in general as it's the onlyway to see the island properly and works out cheaper than using a tour guide.Keep up the good work!

Hereby we would like to thank you for your great service on renting the car.

We would also like to recommend your company to other tourists who come to visit lovely Zanzibar. Booking the car with you was very easy and fast since you are working 24/7 J and replying even late in the night. That was one of the things that separated you from others.

You delivered the car on time like agreed, arranged our permit, helped us with tips such as where to park the car, how to handle the police. You offered us to call you if we have any issue with the police on the road and were willing to help to handle it for us.

Car was in good shape, clean and working properly. We had no issue whatsoever.
